Abstract

The objective of the present study is to determine the size, morphology and some characteristics of the ZnO nanoparticles synthesized by precipitation method using various experimental techniques, such as TEM, XRD and DLS. The synthesized nanoparticles were incorporated in samples of enamel paint and their evaluation by FTIR and GIXRD determined that there is compatibility with both materials. Also the degradation resistance and curing behavior of the composite were evaluated through thermal tests, such as TGA and DSC.
